By accepting these Terms of Service, you also agree to HR Bible’s incorporated Privacy Policy and Data Processing Agreement.
1. Introduction
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the HR Bible services, including our website, Slack and Microsoft Teams integrations, and related SaaS products (“Services”), provided by HR Bible SRL (“HR Bible”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
By installing, accessing, or using the Services, you (“Customer”) agree to these Terms. If you are accepting on behalf of a company, you represent that you have the authority to bind that company.
2. Services
HR Bible provides HR automation tools integrated with Slack and Microsoft Teams, including leave requests, approvals, and reporting. Features may change as Services evolve.
3. Accounts & Eligibility
- You must provide accurate information when creating a workspace or user account.
- You are responsible for maintaining confidentiality of your login credentials.
- Services are intended for business use only and not for individuals under the minimum legal working age in their jurisdiction.
4. Customer Data, Privacy & Data Processing
- Customer remains the Data Controller of personal data processed through Slack/Teams. HR Bible acts as a Data Processor.
- Use of Services is governed by our Privacy Policy.
- The Data Processing Agreement (DPA) is hereby incorporated into and forms part of these Terms. By accepting these Terms, Customer also agrees to the DPA.
- HR Bible may update its Sub-Processors List from time to time.
5. Customer Responsibilities
Customer agrees to:
- Ensure lawful collection and use of employee data before submitting it to the Services.
- Obtain necessary consents and provide notices to employees as required by law.
- Use the Services in compliance with applicable laws (including labor laws and data protection).
6. Payment & Subscription
- Paid plans are billed via Stripe. Fees are due in advance, unless otherwise agreed.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled.
- HR Bible may adjust pricing with at least 30 days’ notice.
7. Acceptable Use
You may not:
- Misuse the Services to violate laws, infringe IP rights, or harass individuals.
- Reverse-engineer, copy, or resell the Services.
- Interfere with security or attempt unauthorized access.
8. Intellectual Property
HR Bible retains all rights, title, and interest in and to the Services, including software, designs, and trademarks. Customer retains rights to its own data.
9. Confidentiality
Both Parties agree to protect confidential information shared during the provision of Services and not disclose it to third parties, except as permitted by these Terms or required by law.
10. Warranties & Disclaimers
- Services are provided “as is” without warranties of uninterrupted or error-free operation.
- HR Bible disclaims all implied warranties to the maximum extent permitted by law.
11. Liability
- To the extent permitted by law, HR Bible’s total liability arising out of or relating to the Services is limited to the amount paid by Customer in the 12 months prior to the claim.
- HR Bible is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
12. Term & Termination
- Either Party may terminate for convenience with written notice.
- HR Bible may suspend or terminate accounts for non-payment or breach.
- Upon termination, Customer may export data before deletion in accordance with the DPA.
13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
- These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania, excluding conflict of laws.
- Disputes shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably. If not resolved, disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Romania.
14. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be effective upon posting. Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
